WIP Wedneday

I was feeling overwhelmed this week at the amount of quilts I have on the go in reality and in my mind.  So I took 20 minutes and made this.  It's kind of hard to see in the picture but I took an old shadow box frame and replaced the picture with a piece of fabric.  Then I used a dry erase marker to list out the quilts I currently have in some form of progress, including a quilt along that I have committed to but not started.  For the month of June, these are the only quilts I will work on.  Hopefully, this will result in a handful of completely finished quilt by the months end.

This week I got all of my pieces (except the outside border) cut for the Impromptu Along.  I'm not sure what it is about this quilt in particular but I am very eager to get going.  Instead of diving into the blocks (I'm trying to wait until the QAL actually starts on Saturday LOL) I made my binding last night.

I love a scrappy binding.  And a scrappy navy binding? {swoon} The other project that has been taking up the majority of my sewing time is Sunny Days.  But now that it is finished, I should make good progress on a few other things.  Here's a sneak peek to hold you over until Friday when I post fully about it.
