In my defense, this project should have made it into Monday's post. I had the HSTs all ready to go and a general design was floating around in my head. I'm pretty happy with where this is heading so I will probably keep spending time on it until I get stumped :) No name for it yet, I've just been calling it Leftovers LOL
Is it just me or have Churn Dash quilts been popping up everywhere recently. I want to make a baby sized quilt from just one block. For once, I might actually do something when it is trending! But I can't decide. Blue on orange OR orange on blue?
The Harper quilt is complete! This lovely lady will be going postal today to it's new owners. Who will then take it across many continents to China! That is definitely the farthest away one of my quilts has gone to live.
I still consider this a work in progress as I'm working on a tutorial for it. Come back tomorrow for the first installment!
Linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced!
These all look great! I would vote for the blue background and orange churn dash :)

Hmm. I like both, so I would probably turn it into a 4 block quilt. in fact, I may just try that. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI seen some around too. I like the orange on blue better. I also like your quilting on Harper quilt. Simple but effective!
ReplyDeleteThe quilting on your Harper Quilt looks great! And I love how you left the center white zigzag unquilted. I think it looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilting on Harper's quilt! Your lines are so crisp and even!

ReplyDeleteYour "Harper" quilt is dreamy! Looks like your vacation is being used wisely.
ReplyDeleteI am working on a "week of quilt tutorials" on my blog, Jedi Craft Girl July 22-27th. I was hoping you would let me feature you and one of your quilt tutorials. Let me know if you are interested. amandaniederhauser(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteThe quilting looks so nice! Did you use walking foot or FMQ foot? Just curious...
