Small Project #1

Technically this wasn't on my list yesterday but I'm gonna count it anyway ;)  It was mostly done and I just had to attach the binding today.  A patchwork blanket for a friend's new baby boy!

It is made almost completely with Anne Kelle's Remix for Robert Kaufman and backed in white minky.

If anyone is interested in something similar they can find the etsy listing here.

Oh and if anyone out there could tell me how and where to attach a button on my blog I would love to do that :)

  1. I think it's absolutely OK to put something on the list, just so you can cross it off. That's half the fun! Your quilt is adorable. I love the fabric and the "C" you added at the bottom.

Do you want to add a button on the side of your blog? If so, make sure you are logged in to blogger and try this. (I'm using Google Chrome as a browser.. hopefully these steps work in whatever browser you're using.)

    1) Scroll up to the very top of your blog. On the upper right you'll see a link for "Design." Click on that.

    2) On the left side of the Design page, click on "Layout."

    3) You should see boxes that show the basic layout of your blog. Look for one that says "Add a Gadget" on the part of your blog where you want the button to go. You'll probably see "Add a Gadget" in a few places, but if you want the button on the right side of your blog (for example), click on that one.

    4) Assuming you have the code for the button... when the "Add a Gadget" window pops up, scroll down and click on the one for "HTML / Java Script."

    5) A new window will pop up. You can give the button a title and then paste your button code into the big "Content" box. When you're done, click on "Save."

    6) This will bring you back to the Layout page, and you should see a white box on the right side (or wherever you put it) with the button name showing. You can click on the box and drag it to a different spot on your blog layout, if it's not where you want it.

I hope that works for you. Good luck!
